Wood materials
Quadrum photo frames are made in Germany. This wood comes from sustainably managed forests and meets the criteria of the Forest Stewardship Council. Oak frames are made of solid wood FSC® certified with oak veneer.
All predefined frames are made from solid wood from sustainable sources.
Black and white frames are made from linden wood, while the light oak frames are made from Solid oak.
No MDF is used in frames.
The wood is dyed or painted, then finished by hand with transparent protective wax. This finish protects the wood while maintaining its natural texture.
Each frame is Hand-assembled in our production studio in the UK or Germany, depending on the place of shipment.
The frames are delivered ready to hang, with a robust locking system already installed at the rear.

Glass materials
Most frame windows are made of glazed glass polished with a UV filter of about 45%. For extra-large sizes A1, 60×80 cm and 70×100 cm, we use a high quality 3 mm transparent acrylic to avoid damage during transport. The frames are also equipped with an acid-free insert and a robust rear panel.
